We're Giving It a Try!!

We are finally giving blogging a try!! I think it might take me some time to figure out how to set it all up, but I'm sure we will figure it out. We were the only Gibson's without a blog so we thought we'd jump on board. We love to show off our kiddos anyway!!


Well, I'll do a quick family update and then I'll try to figure out how to post some pics with this. Carsyn is three now and getting bigger every day. She loves being a big sister and is always such a big help for mommy. Carsyn loves being in primary this year and loves her teacher and singing time. She knows about all of the primary songs and sings so sweetly. She loves to cook with mommy everyday and do the dishes and laundry. She is a slight perfectionist!! (Must get it from her dad!!) She still loves to read books and is acquiring quite the little library. Her newest collection is a bunch of Dr. Suess books. Daddy and her have such a fun time reading them together. They have a couple of the books memorized!! It's so cute to watch them together. Carsyn informed me the other day that Daddy was an airman and she was going to be an airman but that I only got to be a mom. So, that's that apparently!! She is quite our little comedian. She keeps us laughing everyday. We feel so blessed to have her in our lives!!


Chase is going to be one on Easter. I can't believe it has already been a year! He has brought so much joy to our family. He has been quite a different little baby then Carsyn was. First off, he is HUGE!! He weighs about what Carsyn did a 2!! Kind of funny!! He has quite the cheeks going on. He always has a smile on his face--and it is such a cute little smile!! He is developing so much every day. This last month has been crazy to see all the progress he is making. He is "talking" so much more now and is walking along everything!! He loves to chase his big sister all over the house and he thinks that she is the funniest person ever!! He has such a sweet little spirit about him. His latest development was learning how to use a spoon and a fork. It is cute to watch him eat like a big boy. We are excited about all of the new things he will learn in the coming months!!



Evan and I are doing great. Evan is working hard, as usual. He is enjoying his job with the Air Force and making a great name for himself. He is also in school and working very hard to be able to apply for a commissioning program at the end of the year. He is a great dad and loves playing with the kids. He is currently serving in the Sunday School Presidency at church. I am busy being a mom and loving every minute of it. I start my Finance Program on the 27th and am excited and nervous to be going back to college. I keep very busy working with the Young Women in my church calling. We love Washington so far and have been so blessed this past year. We have had so much fun exploring up here and have gotten to see some beautiful things. We miss our family so much but have been able to grow closer together throughout this past year. We appreciate everyone's prayer and thoughts throughout this past crazy year. We definitely couldn't have done all this without you!!



The only other family update at the moment is that we have a new addition!! Sammy joined our family last week. He is two and the cutest little Westie dog ever!! He's been so much fun to have. The kids are just so cute with him and we have had a ton of laughter in the house!! We took him on a walk the other day and everytime he would life his leg, Carsyn would start cracking up which would make Chase crack up which turned into a walk of laughing uncontollably!! We are very excited to have found such a great little dog for the kids to grow up with!!



Well, hopefully we'll be able to catch onto this blogging thing and be able to keep our fam and friends updated!!
